MORE ABOUT ME

I suppose I have always been fascinated with photography. The joy, the excitement  and the process of taking photographs has always appealed to me ever since I was a schoolboy.
I have always been a very creative person, at school I excelled at  drawing and painting. During my 30s I was a professional gigging musician, writing and recording my own material. Now my self expression lies with creating photographs.
  

Throughout the 80's I took my hobby to another level with various film cameras and I started to seriously hone my photographic skills.
Traversing my way through the endless technicalities, and learning curves, littered with frustrations, peaks and troughs of delight and despair I found the world of creative composition provided endless possibilities. 

Once digital technology made its dramatic debut, I found myself further inspired to perfect the art of what has now become known as "candid photography"

I have a state of the art computer where I do all my own editing in "Lightroom" I've used this software for a number of years now and my proficiency means I can turnaround a clients images, in a matter of days.
Away from the camera I love to ride motorcycles, mountain bikes, I used to surf, I am a budding chef and love to cook. I've studied martial arts since the 1970s
 
As a ‘people person’ I continue to be enthralled by those around me. I love watching people and seeing how the events and little stories just seem to unfold and I go out of my way to meet new and interesting people.
